About EE

EE (Everything Everywhere) is the UK's largest mobile network by coverage, owned by BT Group. Formed from the 2010 merger of Orange UK and T-Mobile UK, EE launched the UK's first 4G network in October 2012 and first 5G in May 2019. Its 5G+ Standalone architecture launched September 2024, reaching approximately 44 million people. EE has been independently rated the UK's fastest mobile network for more than 10 consecutive years and holds the widest 5G geographic coverage of any UK operator.

"Coverage in our village has been excellent β€” EE reaches where other networks fail. The Netflix extra is used every single day. For rural UK, EE is genuinely worth the premium."

"Fast network but I pay significantly more than Tesco Mobile friends on O2. EE makes financial sense only if you actually use the Inclusive Extras. Otherwise you're overpaying."
